Salento AVR 2016 will take place at “Le Cale d’Otranto Resort” that is located in Otranto, 44 km away from Lecce
“Le Cale d’Otranto Resort” overlooks a bay of crystal clear waters, palm and cypress trees, in a land rich in history and culture. It is also provided with a cove called “La Cricca” that is formed by some small coves and a cave, a natural swimming pool where the beauty of this corner of Puglia reaches its apotheosis.
The exclusive position makes the resort unique: the lush local vegetation, mostly made up of old olive trees and pine forests, is blended with the clear water of the place where the Adriatic Sea meets the Ionian Sea. The near “Capo d’Otranto” is in fact the most eastern point of Italy and according to the nautical conventions is the separation point of the two seas.
The Resort is entirely built of “Lecce stone”, the stone used for the building of many local houses and monuments, is provided of 424 Mediterranean-style rooms on the ground floor or the first floor. The resort is composed of 2 separate “neighborhoods” overlooking the bay and the main square and is surrounded by a wonderful park.
“Le Cale d’Otranto Resort” is provided of 2 swimming pool, 10 tennis courts, 1 grass football field, 1 beach volleyball court, and a private beach with instructors for the practiced sports; there is also a club for guests 12/17 years old, and evening shows and animation are everyday planned.

- the Restaurant “Le Terrazze” overlooks the bay and consists of three rooms on three levels furnished with tables and chairs stone and offers a breathtaking view.
- the Restaurant “La Masseria” overlooks the pool in an elegant and romantic atmosphere.
- the Bar is the heart of the resort during the all day and till late evening.
